When you set up Peel, you’ll choose the channel for your team. You’ll also choose if you want to also receive the continuous reports in addition to the daily and weekly reports.

Add Peel to your Slack team

Option #1:

To install Slack, go to peelinsights.com and click the “Add to Slack” button.  You may then be prompted to sign in to your Slack account, or if you're already signed into multiple Slack teams then you will be prompted to choose a team.

Depending on your team's settings you may not be able to install apps if you're not an admin for your team. If this is the case then you will need to have an admin to add Peel, or grant you admin permissions.

Option #2

Go to the Peel's Slack Marketplace app page. You may need to sign into your Slack account, or if you’re already signed into multiple Slack teams - choose the team that you want to install Peel for. Depending on your team's settings you may not be able to install apps if you're not an admin for your team. If this is the case then you will need to have an admin to add Peel, or grant you admin permissions.

Invite Colleagues to the Peel Channel

Now that you have set up Peel, invite your colleagues to the Peel channel so they can be data informed. You can announce Peel to your team via email and/or within Slack (most teams post it in the #general channel or a team specific channel). Here is a friendly prompt that you can use by just copying and pasting it right into Slack (e.g. into #general).

Hey team! I’ve just installed Peel  ⚡️- which automates the analysis and reporting of our company’s revenue data. Peel will send us updates on our critical business metrics such as monthly revenue, growth rate and average revenue per user, customer retention with daily reports that narrate findings across all our segments to this channel. All we have to do is read the reports! :) ✌🏼
