How does Peel attribute Refunds?

When it comes to Refunds data we are limited based on what we get from the Shopify API. What we do is attribute Refunds to the date of Refund itself (in the actual month the Refund was processed) not to the date of the original purchase order.

The Peel team has added another highly requested Refunds metric - Refunds by Cohort - so you can better analyze smaller segments of customers to answer questions like, "Was there an uptick in returns after Black Friday versus other months?"
